Rick Stein has many restaurants, deli's, and pubs in the area. The Cornish Arms is the closest pub to the site. Padstow grew in popularity when Rick Stein opened his flagship seafood restaurant in 1975, and now hosts 8 different Rick Stein offerings.

Free entry, ran by volunteers so opening times may vary. But a great way to learn about Padstow history!

Camel Trail

At around 18 miles the Camel Trail is the perfect choice for a leisurely day out cycling, and with so many great picnic spots you might want to take more than one.

Sea Pool, Treyamon

A pool of rippling blue water within a rock formation under a blue sky

If you are looking for some relaxed wild swimming, we love the tidal rock pool in Treyamon.

It is just over 10 mintes drive from the site and has a car park close by, making it perfect for a last minute dip when the mood takes you.

Trevone Beach

a vast golden sand beach stretching across the foreground, with the sea and a grassy cliff in the midground, under a blue sky

An 8 minute drive from site is one of the best beaches in the area. It can keep the whole family entertained all day long: with plenty of rock pools, interesting rock formations, and loads of golden sand to get between your toes. The main thing to note is that the parking and toilets have a strict charges.
